Gable Verandah with Slate Impression Paving

Customer Requirements:

  • Level Site to Allow new Paving

  • Provide Gabled structure to run length of Dwelling

  • Match existing House lines and textures

  • Provide Durable paving surface - Faux Brick concrete impression slate pattern

  • Provide effective Roofing design using combination of Polycarbonate & Colorbond Roofing.

Clients decided as structure was on the north - west side of dwelling a combination of Polycarbonate & Colorbond roofing was most appropriate. Roofing as full Polycarbonate to east side and a mix of Polycarbonate & Colorbond to west side of Gable

Gable in-fills were left open to allow free movement of air.

Primary usage for external entertaining, protection needed from prevailing weather conditions for exit doors plus dry area for the family all year round.

Constructed with Canadian Oregon timber frame, Cypress Gold (dressed posts)  Polycarbonate Roofing and Colorbond flashings and gutters.

Concrete paving in Faux brick slate pattern.
